The Teardrop Explodes

A banda foi formada por Julian Cope, que tinha sido anteriormente no curta ainda localmente renomado banda Crucial Three, juntamente com Pete Wylie, que passou a formar Wah!, E Ian McCulloch, depois de o Echo e Bunnymen.

The band’s initial line-up consisted of singer/bassist Julian Cope , Mick Finkler on guitar, Gary Dwyer on drums and Paul Simpson on keyboards.
